Through more than three decades of service, Eva’s has established a unique record in helping the hungry, homeless, and addicted. Our organization has grown from a simple soup kitchen to become one of the most respected antipoverty programs in the Tri-State area.

FOOD + HOUSING

Community Kitchen
Serving nutritious breakfast and lunch to nearly 500 homeless and working poor individuals 365 days a year, and 3 meals a day to clients in Eva’s shelters and residential programs

Emergency Overnight Shelter for Women
Providing safe, clean shelter and supportive services for 36 homeless women

Emergency Overnight Shelter for Men
Providing safe, clean shelter and supportive services for 40 homeless men

Emergency Overnight Shelter for Mothers with Children (Hope Residence)
Providing safe, clean shelter and supportive services for 7 mothers and up to 15 children

Transitional Apartments for Mothers with Children
Six two-bedroom apartments for mothers and children who are working towards permanent housing

Transitional Housing for Men
Apartments for 14 individuals who are working towards permanent housing

Eva’s Village Apartments
50 units of affordable, permanent housing

Greenhouse
Providing year-round fresh produce, herbs and eggs for our Community Kitchen

MEDICAL + RECOVERY

Substance Abuse Treatment for Men
Inpatient program with capacity for 103 residents

Substance Abuse Treatment for Women
Inpatient program with capacity for 36 residents

Substance Abuse Treatment for Mothers with Children (Hope Residence)
Inpatient program with capacity for 24 mothers and up to 55 children

Outpatient Program
Providing addiction treatment for up to 180 clients, day and evening

Recovery Community Center
Peer-driven community resource offering recovery-related workshops, seminars, group meetings, and social activities seven days a week

Intake Center
Providing assessment and intake services to individuals seeking housing, treatment and mental health services

Medical and Dental Clinic
A free clinic handling more than 5,000 patient visits each year

Mental Health
Providing a full array of ambulatory outpatient mental health and integrated co-occurring services

Opioid Overdose Recovery Program
A peer-to-peer program engaging individuals in emergency rooms who have been reversed from an overdose, with the goal of connecting them to recovery services

EDUCATION + TRAINING

The Culinary School At Eva’s Village
A private vocational school providing training and job placement in the food service industry for residents from the greater Paterson area

Workforce Development
Assisting clients with resumes, interview skills, and job search

Childcare and Education
Offering a nurturing environment and educational activities for the infants, toddlers, and school-aged children of mothers living in Hope Residence
